NFL schedule 2012: Steelers visit the Giants to highlight Week 9

Week 9 of the NFL schedule isn't full of marquee match-ups, but has plenty of intrigue with some teams trying to get back on track and one other attempting to remain perfect.

Matthew Emmons-US PRESSWIRE

The Pittsburgh Steelers visit the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon in one of only two games that pit teams with winning records against each other in Week 9. Surprisingly, the match-up between the 4-3 Colts and 4-3 Dolphins is the only other contest where both squads are over .500.

The Seahawks against the Vikings and the Cardinals at the Packers are couple of interdivisional NFC match-ups that are the next closest thing. Seattle and Arizona are tied for second in the NFC West at 4-4, while Minnesota and Green Bay are notched in the NFC North at 5-3.

Oakland tries to move to .500 with a win over the Buccaneers, while the the Chiefs and Chargers get the week's schedule started in San Diego on Thursday.

Sunday night pairs the Cowboys and Falcons as Atlanta tries to maintain its perfect record. Dallas is now under .500 after a comeback against the Giants in Week 8 fell short. The Eagles visit the Saints for the Monday match-up, as both teams are in desperate need of a win.
