As in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll, the USC Trojans see very little change in support in the latest USA Today Coaches' Poll, as the Trojans remain the No. 9 team according to the 59 coaches polled.

All 59 coaches are firm believers that the Trojans — and the rest of the country — are chasing the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide, which received all 59 first-place votes. The Tide are trailed by the Trojans' fellow Pac-12 combatant the Oregon Ducks. And the conference lands a third team in the top half of the poll with the Oregon State Beavers' appearance at No. 11, up from No. 14 last week.

The Trojans edged out the No. 10 Florida State Seminoles, which bounced back against the Boston College Eagles for a blowout on Saturday.

The No. 8 South Carolina Gamecocks remain ahead of the Trojans despite suffering a narrow loss at the hands of the now-No. 6 LSU Tigers.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish also made a move this week, up two spots to No. 5.
