Utah Utes at UCLA Bruins - 12:00pm FOX

The opening matchup of the Pac 12 Fox doubleheader, both teams come into the Rose Bowl with something to prove. UCLA wants to get back on track after the drubbing they suffered in Berkeley, while Utah looks to salvage their season after a good showing came up short against USC. With Johnathan Franklin just 200 yards short of 1,000, look for the Bruins to run roughshod over Utah.

No. 17 Stanford Cardinal at No. 7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish - 12:30 pm NBC

Stanford is riding a three game winning streak in the battle for the Legends Trophy, the Irish Crystal and California Redwood trophy created by the San Francisco Bay Area Notre Dame Alumni Association. The alumni of both schools should be excited as this is just the third time in the history of the series that both schools go in ranked. The first time was in 1992, when Notre Dame was ranked 6th and Stanford 18th. The Cardinal pulled off the upset in Notre Dame Stadium. Sounds familiar.

No. 10 Oregon St. Beavers vs. BYU Cougars- 12:30 ABC

After an early morning broadcast on ABC of the Red River Shootout at the Cotton Bowl at the Texas State Fairgrounds (it ain't Pac 12, but it always is a hoot), ABC has this west coast matchup to offer us. With Oregon and Arizona on bye, Stanford at Notre Dame, and Arizona St. wiping the floor with Colorado, the Beavers looked to the Mormons for their second Out of Conference game. They won't play their third until after the Pac 12 championship. Isn't that strange? Anyhow, the Beavers are undefeated, and it doesn't look like BYU will pose much of a challenge.

No. 9 USC Trojans at Washington Huskies - 4:00 pm FOX

The headliner for today's Pac 12 action, the Trojans face a tough test going up to face the team that knocked Stanford off its perch. Gus Johnson will be on the call, so there will be a lot of excitement when Marquise Lee GOES UP TOP to snag one out of the air at Century Link. The Trojans and Huskies are fielding similar running backs, it looks like it'll be up to Matt Barkley to carry the Trojans through USC's most difficult matchup in the month of October.

California Golden Bears at Washington St. Cougars - 7:30 pm Pac 12 Networks

Cal may have won big last week, but this is a Tier 3 matchup to end all Tier 3 matchups. Cal and WSU are at the bottom of the Pac 12 North, with the Cougars 0-3 in Pac 12 play. New management, same old Cougars with a -39 point differential. With Washington going against USC this week and Stanford idle, the Bears could even jump back into Pac 12 relevance this week. The Cougs have to hope Cal is looking forward to the Big Game next weekend and falls into the trap.
