Pro Bowl 2012 Recap: UCLA Alum Maurice Jones-Drew And AFC Win, 59-41

The 2012 Pro Bowl took place on Sunday at Aloha Stadium in Hawaii. The AFC and NFC teams squared off in an exhibition game that featured four NFL players who attended Southern California colleges.

The game began as a laughably underwhelming affair, with the teams appearing to operate at half-speed and their visible lack of effort at one point drawing loud boos from the live crowd in the first quarter.

As the score pretty much reflects, the defense was more or less nonexistent in the game. All three quarterbacks from each team all recorded at least one touchdown and one receiver from each team caught at least three. Dolphins receiver Brandon Marshall caught caught a touchdown in each quarter for the AFC and Larry Fitzgerald had three for the NFC.

UCLA Bruins alum Maurice Jones-Drew led all rushers in the game, picking up 56 yards on six carries, with a long of 39. Vonta Leach on the AFC team had the only rushing touchdown of the game.
