The Loyola Marymount Lions got a three-pointer from Jarred DuBois with 18 seconds remaining in the game Saturday night, giving the Lions a 62-59 home win over the Portland Pilots at Gersten Pavilion in Los Angeles. The win for the Lions, combined with the Saint Mary's Gaels getting a road win in Provo over the BYU Cougars, moved LMU into a tie for third place in the West Coast Conference standings.

The Pepperdine Waves snapped an eight-game losing streak Saturday night with a 74-62 home win over the Santa Clara Broncos, dropping the Broncos to 0-8 in WCC play. The Waves host the Gonzaga Bulldogs next Saturday night at Firestone Fieldhouse in Malibu.
