Long Beach State Vs. Cal State Fullerton Final Score: James Ennis Leads 49ers To 75-61 Win

The Long Beach State 49ers withstood a comeback effort by the Cal State Fullerton Titans, beating their Big West Conference foe 75-61 in front of a record crowd of 5,649 at the Walter Pyramid on Saturday night. The 49ers have won 17 consecutive Big West Conference regular season games, and have won 18 straight home games, both dating back to last season.

James Ennis scored 19 points to lead the 49ers (16-6, 9-0), who shot 50.9% from the field and outrebounded Fullerton 33-30. Long Beach State saw a 12-point second half lead cut to two points, but the 49ers ended the game on a 20-8 run over the final six and a half minutes.

Omondi Amoke had a monster game for Cal State Fullerton (13-7, 5-2) with 20 points on 9-of-15 shooting, and seven rebounds. The Titans shot 45.6% from the field on the night. Isiah Umipig added 16 points for Fullerton.

Larry Anderson had 16 points, seven rebounds, and five steals for Long Beach State. Casper Ware added 11 points and five assists in the win. Long Beach State has six days off before hosting Cal State Northridge next Saturday night at the Walter Pyramid.
