Road, Sweet Road: Loyola Marymount has had a bizarre season in conference play, as they are 5-0 on the road in the WCC, but 0-3 at home. Their three home games so far have happened to come against the top three teams in the conference, the Saint Mary's Gaels, Gonzaga Bulldogs, and BYU Cougars.

That followed games of 25 and 27 points for Ireland, who is third in the WCC averaging 15.8 points per game on the season. Ireland ranks second in the conference with a 19.0 scoring average in conference games.

Series History: LMU leads the all-time series with Portland 43-41. The Lions lost both regular season contests last year to the Pilots, but beat Portland 72-68 in the West Coast Conference Tournament.

Percentage Plays: Loyola Marymount leads the West Coast Conference in both free throw percentage (73.7%) and three-point field goal defense (29.1%).
