2012 Rose Bowl Score: De'Anthony Thomas A Touchdown Machine, Oregon Leads 35-31 In Third Quarter

De'Anthony Thomas is having himself quite a day in Pasadena. The freshman all-purpose superstar for the Oregon Ducks has two rushing attempts so far in the 2012 Rose Bowl. Both have resulted in touchdowns, and a total of 155 yards, as Oregon leads the Wisconsin Badgers 35-31 in the third quarter.

Thomas set a Rose Bowl record for longest run from scrimmage with his 91-yard scamper in the first half, but added another with a 64-yard run in the third quarter that gave the Ducks a 35-28 lead. Watch as Thomas makes it look easy once he hits the corner:

Thomas is averaging a mere 77.5 yards per rushing attempt in the game. Oregon has run 32 plays so far in the Rose Bowl, and have scored 35 points. Just remarkable.

Of course, Wisconsin is no slouch on offense themselves, and they answered right back with a scoring drive of their own, getting a great kickoff return and driving 24 yards culminating in a 29-yard field goal by Philip Welch with 11 minutes remaining in the third quarter.
