NCAA Basketball Rankings: Pac-12 Has No Top 25 Teams For Seventh Straight Week

California is the highest ranked team in the Pac-12 at No. 37 in the coaches poll.

The latest college basketball rankings are out, and for the seventh consecutive week the Pac-12 Conference has no teams ranked in the top 25. In the latest ESPN/USA Today coaches poll, the highest-rated team in the conference is the Cal Bears (15-4, 5-1 in the Pac-12), who are in the "others receiving votes" section at No. 37. The Stanford Cardinal (15-3, 5-1) were ranked No. 35 in last week's coaches poll, but received no votes this week.

Here is the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll top 10:

  1. Syracuse (31 first place votes)
  2. Kentucky
  3. Baylor
  4. Duke
  5. Missouri
  6. Ohio State
  7. Kansas
  8. North Carolina
  9. Michigan State
  10. Murray State

The West Coast Conference still has one team ranked in the top 25, with the Saint Mary's Gaels essentially swapping spots with the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Gonzaga was ranked No. 23 in the coaches poll last week, with Saint Mary's No. 27, but the Gaels (17-2, 6-0) beat the Bulldogs by 21. This week, Saint Mary's is ranked No. 23, with Gonzaga falling into a tie for 30th place.
