The USC Trojans are about to partner with Marvel Comics and all of its fictional superheroes in one of the strangest and most intriguing combinations that you'll ever see. Marvel announced today that they will be releasing attire featuring their heroes alongside USC themes through Silver Star Merchandising.
Yes, that means that you can now find Spider-Man and the USC logo on the same shirt, among several other combinations. Other heroes included in the new line are Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk and Wolverine. The shirts, which range in size from infant to adult and accommodate everyone from the young comic lover to the die-hard Trojan alumnus, will feature USC's colors (Cardinal and Gold) along with the school's logos and mascot.
By this point you must be wondering where you can get one. Marvel has said that the line will be available at USC bookstores and mass sporting good retailers beginning at the end of this month. I'm curious: will this superhero/sports mash-up catch on around the USC campus? And if so, how many of these can we expect to see at each football game this season?
