Trayvon Robinson Making MLB Debut For Mariners, Playing Left Field, Batting Ninth

Trayvon Robinson, who went to high school at nearby Crenshaw High School and was traded by the Dodgers last Sunday, has been recalled from Triple A by Seattle, and will make his major league debut Friday night for the Mariners in Anaheim against the Angels. Robinson, who hit .289/.374/.552 with 26 home runs in 103 games in Triple A this season, will play left field and bat ninth Here are the starting lineups for the series opener:

Jered Weaver starts for the Angels, facing Jason Vargas for Seattle. The Angels are 6-3 against the Mariners this season, including 4-0 in Anaheim. The Halos have beaten Seattle seven straight times at home, and have won 16 of their last 18 battles in Anaheim.
