The fifth annual 76 Classic will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center, and ESPN on Thursday announced the bracket and schedule for the eight-team college basketball tournament. The tournament will take place over four days during Thanksgiving weekend, and be televised by ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU. UNLV won the 76 Classic last season, but will not be back to defend its title in 2011.
The most local team in the event is UC Riverside, who plays their home games roughly 45 minutes from Anaheim. The Highlanders open with a tough matchup, against Villanova. Washington State is the lone Pac-12 representative in the tournament. Santa Clara is the other California team in the event.
