The Drew League and Goodman League are getting together for another sure-fire entertaining game, according to the Drew League itself. The game, which does not have a fixed date or time just yet, will be played in Los Angeles.
The two sides met on Aug. 20th in Washington D.C., and the Goodman League came away with a narrow 135-134 victory after missed shots by Brandon Jennings and James Harden in the final seconds. Kevin Durant led the way for the Goodman League in that game with 44 points.
The Drew League is pursuing Kobe Bryant to play, which would certainly make this Drew League-Goodman League rematch that much more interesting. Bryant appeared in a Drew League game earlier this month, putting up 43 points and a game-winning jumper along the way.
Regardless of Kobe's presence, the Drew League will play the Goodman League on their own turf sometime soon. The date and time have not yet been disclosed, but expect plenty of good basketball and an enthusiastic L.A. crowd to be in attendance.
