Bubba Smith was found dead in his home in Los Angeles. Cause of death has not yet been determined, but it's believed he died of natural causes.
Smith played his college football with the Michigan St. Spartans and was drafted with the #1 pick in the 1967 pick by the Baltimore Colts. He enjoyed a solid 9 year career in the NFL, winning one Super Bowl, being named to 2 Pro Bowls and making an All Pro team once.
However, his most noticeable accomplishments probably came off the field with a strong Hollywood career. After the jump, some of the highlights.

Smith is perhaps most famous for his role as Moses Hightower in the Police Academy movies.
