UCLA Freshman Quarterback Brett Hundley To Miss 3-4 Weeks

UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel revealed on Pac-12 Media Day that incoming freshman quarterback, Brett Hundley, will undergo knee surgery after tearing his meniscus from playing pickup basketball. Hundley, the highly rated quarterback out of Chandler, Ariz., may miss up to "3-4 weeks," according to Neuheisel. He will have surgery on Wednesday.

Neuheisel indicated that the freshman quarterback will miss roughly all of fall camp. Quarterback Kevin Prince will get the first-team reps at the start of fall camp. With his size and speed, Hundley was tabbed as the second-ranked mobile quarterback prospect according to Rivals.com.  He participated in the Under Armor All-American game while have already been committed to the Bruins.

Hundley enrolled early at UCLA hoping to better his chances of starting for the Bruins.  Hundley had mixed spring results, but neither Richard Brehaut or Prince had great numbers in the 2010 season to indicate either to be the starter for UCLA.
