Haren, Angels Continue Road Trip Facing Indians In Cleveland

The Angels continue their road trip Monday night in Cleveland, facing the Indians in a battle of second place teams. Dan Haren gets the start for the Angels, facing Fausto Carmona for Cleveland. The Angels have beaten the Indians in four of six matchups this season, all of which have been in Anaheim.

Haren is 10-6 this season with a 3.10 ERA. He is coming off of his worst start of the season, allowing seven runs in 4 1/3 innings against Texas, in a game the Angels eventually came back and won 9-8. Haren shutout the Indians on April 12, and struck out 10 Clevelanders in 6 2/3 innings on May 8, allowing two runs.

Carmona is 5-10 with a 5.63 ERA this season. He has allowed two earned runs in 14 2/3 innings against the Angels this season, though the Angels won both games. The Indians have lost four straight games, and nine of their last 13 games.
