Dodgers Vs. Reds: L.A. Looks For Third Straight Series Win

The Dodgers look for their third straight series win on Sunday afternoon, facing the Reds at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. Chad Billingsley gets the start for the Dodgers, looking for his third straight win. Left-hander Travis Wood gets the start for the Reds.

Matt Kemp had a career day on Saturday, with two home runs and a career-high six runs batted in, including the sixth grand slam of his career, leading the Dodgers to an 11-8 win in extra innings. The Dodgers offense has been Jekyll and Hyde this week, as they scored 23 runs in three straight wins from Sunday to Tuesday, then managed one run in 18 innings over their next two contests before the 11-run outburst on Saturday.

The Dodgers were 1-8-1 in their previous 10 series before beating Florida and Colorado in the last week at Dodger Stadium. Billingsley allowed one run in seven innings in his last start, scattering 11 hits in a win over Colorado. Juan Uribe was hit on his left hand last night in a rehab assignment with Class A Rancho Cucamonga, but he is expected to be activated on Monday, when the Dodgers are in Philadelphia.

Today's 10:10 a.m. PDT game will be televised by KCAL. For more news and information on the Dodgers, or on today's game, be sure to read the SB Nation blog True Blue LA.
