2011 NCAA Baseball Tournament: UCLA Blows 9th Inning Lead, UC Irvine Wins Los Angeles Regional
The UCLA Bruins relied on a pair of freshmen pitchers on Sunday, and it almost worked. However, UC Irvine rallied for two runs in the ninth inning to beat the Bruins 4-3, winning the Los Angeles Region of the 2011 NCAA Baseball Tournament.

NCAA Baseball Tournament: UCLA Stays Alive With 4-1 Win Over San Francisco, Will Play UC Irvine In Regional Final
Freshman pitcher Adam Plutko allowed just one hit and two walks in 7 2/3 scoreless innings, leading No. 1 seed UCLA to a 4-0 victory over the No. 4 San Francisco Dons Sunday afternoon, keeping UCLA alive in the 2011 NCAA Baseball Tournament. The Bruins advance to play the No. 3 seed UC Irvine Anteaters in the final of the Los Angeles Regional. The Dons were eliminated with the loss.

UCLA is the host team in the Los Angeles Regional, but it must beat San Francisco, a team that beat the Bruins on Friday, if they want to stay alive in the 2011 NCAA Baseball Tournament. NCAA Baseball Tournament: Trevor Bauer Strikes Out 14 As UCLA Stays Alive
Trevor Bauer struck out 14 in nine innings, leading the UCLA Bruins to a 3-1 win over the Fresno St. Bulldogs in an elimination game to stay alive in the 2011 NCAA Baseball Tournament on Saturday at Jackie Robinson Stadium. Bauer allowed one run on six hits and two walks, picking up his 13th win of the season. The loss eliminated Fresno St. from the tournament.

NCAA Baseball Tournament: UCLA Shutout By San Francisco, 3-0
San Francisco's Kyle Zimmer threw a four-hit shutout, beating the UCLA Bruins 3-0 Friday night at Jackie Robinson Stadium on the first day of regionals of the 2011 NCAA Baseball Tournament. Gerrit Cole struck out 11 for the Bruins, but also allowed three runs and 11 hits to take the loss. San Francisco will face UC Irvine on Saturday, with UCLA playing Fresno St. in an elimination game.

College Baseball Bracket: UCLA Top Seed In Los Angeles Region, Path To College World Series Revealed
The NCAA selection committee revealed the 64 college baseball teams in line for the College World Series. There are 16 schools hosting regionals, including UCLA, which run from Friday, June 3 through Monday, June 6. Four teams in each regional will face off in a double-elimination tournament, with the top teams in each regional advancing to super regionals in the next round.
