Angels Comeback Stuns Twins

The Angels were down 5-0 going into the top of the 8th inning at Target Field against the Minnesota Twins Friday night. Two batters reached to start the inning and Erick Aybar greeeted them at the palte as he rounded third base on a 3-run homerun.

But they were just getting started! Alberto Callaspo singled in a run two batter later and the newest Angel veteran Russell Branyan, drove in his first run as an Angel with a sacrifice fly to score Torii Hunter from 3B.

Fernando Rodney got two outs in the bottom of the inning and Scott Downs the third to get the Angels bats back up to bat, which quickly produced the go ahead run in the 9th on a Peter Bourjos triple followed by a Maicer Izturis single. Downs got the win after Jordan Walden picked up his 11th save.
