Dan Haren Would Like Some Support From Angels Hitters

Dan Haren looks to finally add another "W" to his 2011 season as he'll face the light-hitting Oakland A's Tuesday night in Anaheim.  Haren (4-2, 1.84 ERA) is winless in his past six starts although he's only allowed 11 earned runs (2.34 ERA).  The Angels (25-24) have scored 3 runs or less in 7 of Haren's 11 starts, leaving him with little chance of recording a win.  In his last start May 19th in Seattle, Haren went 8 innings allowing 3 hits and one run, yet the Angels lost 2-1.

Last night's 4-1 win over Oakland (22-26) were the first back-to-back Angel victories since the club won 3-straight on May 5th.  Since then, the Angels have gone 7-10, but have won 3 of four during their recent home stand.

Taking the mound for Oakland will be Guillermo Moscoso.  Moscoso is making his first major league start after beginning the season at Triple-A where he was 3-2 with a 4.02 ERA in seven starts.
