A weekend series win by the UCLA Bruins baseball team over Cal has propelled the Bruins back into the top 25. The latest college baseball rankings have been released by Baseball America, and UCLA is ranked No. 23. The Bruins are one of three Pac-10 teams ranked in the top 25.
↵UCLA had their scheduled game with No. 9 Cal State Fullerton rained out last Tuesday, and lost to Cal on Friday. But, yet another complete game by Trevor Bauer on Saturday followed by a stellar effort by Adam Plutko on Sunday, giving the Bruins a series win over Cal, and improving UCLA to 31-20 on the season and 19-9 in conference play.

The Bruins close out their regular season with a road gauntlet of sorts. Tuesday night, UCLA heads to Irvine to face the No. 24 Anteaters, followed by a weekend series in Tempe against No. 8 Arizona State.
