Dodgers Look For Fourth Straight Win In Late Afternoon Matchup With Diamondbacks At Dodger Stadium

The Dodgers look for their fourth straight win Saturday afternoon as they face the Arizona Diamondbacks at Dodger Stadium. Chad Billingsley gets the start for the Dodgers, looking for continued success against Arizona. In his last four starts against the Diamondbacks, Billingsley has three walks and 41 strikeouts in 28 1/3 innings.

Josh Collmenter is making his first major league start for Arizona, after starting the year in the bullpen. In 14 innings as a reliever in his rookie season, Collmenter has one walk and 11 strikeouts, and a 1.29 ERA. He is expected to be on a pitch count of about 75-80 pitches today. Arizona has lost five straight games, all by one run.

Dodgers' reliever Blake Hawksworth, who injured his groin Tuesday night in Pittsburgh, threw a bullpen session on Saturday, but cut it short after feeling discomfort in the groin. He had thrown off flat ground Friday with no problems, leading to today's bullpen session. Manager Don Mattingly said the club still hasn't decided whether or not to place Hawksworth on the disabled list, and that any move likely wouldn't happen until Tuesday.

Today's 4:10 p.m. PDT game will be televised by Fox. For more information on the Dodgers, or on today's game, be sure to read the SB Nation blog True Blue LA.
