Clippers Vs. Mavericks: L.A. Looks To Play Spoiler

The Los Angeles Clippers play their penultimate road contest of the season Friday night, battling the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center. The Clippers have had their struggles with the Mavericks, losing their last nine encounters. The Clippers have lost eight straight games in Dallas.

The Mavericks have been struggling of late, dropping their last four games. Their last win came on March 30...against the Clippers, at Staples Center. Dallas is just 8-9 in their last 17 games, and appear headed for the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference playoffs.

Here are the probable starting lineups:

Clippers (31-48)

  • Point Guard: Mo Williams
  • Shooting Guard: Eric Gordon
  • Small Forward: Jamario Moon
  • Power Forward: Blake Griffin
  • Center: Chris Kaman

Kaman is listed as day-to-day with a sprained right knee, as he and Griffin got tangled up on Wednesday night in Oklahoma City.

Dallas (53-25)

  • Point Guard: Rodrigue Beaubois
  • Shooting Guard: Deshawn Stevenson
  • Small Forward: Shawn Marion
  • Power Forward: Dirk Nowitzki
  • Center: Brendan Haywood
