Angels Look For Another Win In Tampa Bay In Season Debut For Joel Pineiro

The Angels have won all three games they have played this season at Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay, and look for a fourth win on Saturday as Joel Pineiro makes his 2011 season debut against the Rays. Pineiro missed the first four weeks of the season with tightness in his right shoulder. Today's 10:10 a.m. PDT game will be televised on Fox.

Pineiro rejoins an Angels starting staff that is 13-6 with a 3.05 ERA in 26 starts. They have 19 quality starts in 26 games this season. He looks to get support from an Angels team that has excelled on the road this season. The Angels are 9-4 on the road this season, the most road wins in MLB, and have averaged 5.4 runs per game away from home.

The Angels pounded out 17 hits in Friday's win over David Price and the Rays. The 8-5 win was led by three hits each from Bobby Abreu, Howie Kendrick, and Alberto Callaspo, and a home run and four RBI from rookie Mark Trumbo. James Shields is making his sixth start of the season for Tampa Bay. He is 2-1 with a 2.35 ERA so far this season.
