The Angels are in search of their first sweep of the White Sox in Chicago in six seasons, and will send Dan Haren to the mound to try to complete the task. The Angels last swept the White Sox on the road from September 9-11, 2005. The Angels have won four straight and eight of their last 10 games. Mark Buehrle gets the call for the White Sox.
Haren is 3-0 in four games (three starts) this season, with a 0.73 ERA. Haren has 21 strikeouts in 24 2/3 innings, while walking only two. The Angels have had quality starts in 11 of their 14 games this season, and their starters have put up a collective 2.86 ERA while averaging over 6.5 innings per start.
The White Sox are completing a 10-game homestand, on which they are 4-5. Sunday's 11:10 a.m. PDT game will be televised on Fox Sports West.
