Angels Seek Fourth Straight Win Facing White Sox In Matinee On Fox

The Los Angeles Angels are in search of their fourth straight win on Saturday as they face the Chicago White Sox at US Cellular Field in a matinee affair on Fox. Tyler Chatwood, who made his major league debut on Monday in Anaheim, will take the hill for the Angels. Gavin Floyd starts for the White Sox.

The Angels have gotten amazing starting pitching from their top three of Jered Weaver, Dan Haren, and Ervin Santana. Through a series of off days, those three have combined to start 10 of the Angels' first 13 games, and all 10 have been quality starts. Combined, those three have averaged 7.3 innings per start with a 1.85 ERA so far. However, the other three starters -- Scott Kazmir, Matt Palmer, and Chatwood -- have allowed 13 earned runs in 11 1/3 innings, with seven walks and five strikeouts.

The Angels have won seven of their last nine games. Friday night's win by the Angels snapped a seven-game losing streak at U.S. Cellular Field. Today's 1 p.m. PDT game will be televised on Fox.
