2011 NFL Draft: USC Tight End Jordan Cameron Moving Up Mock Draft Boards

Jordan Cameron started out his Collegiate athletic career as a basketball player at BYU. He then transferred to as a basketball player and wide receiver. He moved to full time tight end this past year, and caught just 16 passes for 126 yards and a touchdown.

Those aren't the kind of numbers that normally warrant a selection in the NFL Draft, but Cameron has impressive athleticism for a tight end, and that has helped him climb up Draft Boards and earn some visits across the league. According to NOLA.com, Cameron will be visiting with the Saints.

After striking gold with basketball player-turned-tight end Jimmy Graham in last year's NFL draft, the New Orleans Saints are taking an extended look at this year's version, USC tight end Jordan Cameron. He is scheduled to make a pre-draft visit in New Orleans on Sunday and Monday.

New Orleans isn't the only team that has interest in the extremely raw prospect, according to the National Football Post at Yahoo, Cameron will also be visiting with the Dolphins and Buccaneers later this week.

We'll be covering Cameron's draft experience in this stream, but check out Conquest Chronicles for more on the Trojans.
