The Angels had their first off day of the spring on Monday, but used their day to play a B game against the Rockies in Tempe. Among other things, Scott Kazmir pitched four innings with mixed results wrote Dan Woike of the Orange County Register. Kazmir, who is battling for the fifth starter spot, allowed one run in his four innings, but his velocity was reportedly down.
The Angels also made 10 roster cuts today, including sending top prospect Mike Trout to minor league camp, per Owen Perkins of MLB.com. Trout say action in 12 Cactus League games, collecting four hits in 19 at-bats, and four walks, hitting .211/.348/.211. Here are the Angels' other nine roster cuts today:

The Angels now have 47 players remaining in big league camp. The Angels continue their Cactus League schedule on Tuesday, with a battle against San Diego in Peoria. Joel Pineiro gets the start against Wade LeBlanc of the Padres.
