2011 Women's NCAA Tournament Bracket: UCLA Gets No. 3 Seed, Will Face Montana In First Round On ESPN2

The women's NCAA Tournament bracket has been revealed, and the UCLA Bruins have earned a No. 3 seed in the Spokane region. UCLA will open on Saturday against the No. 14 Montana Grizzlies on 3:30 p.m. PST at the McCarthey Athletic Center, which is the home of the Gonzaga Bulldogs. That is interesting since No. 11 Gonzaga is a possible second-round opponent for the Bruins should the Bulldogs beat the No. 6 Iowa Hawkeyes in the first round.

The Bruins had a stellar season, finishing 27-4, and is No. 7 in the latest Associated Press poll. Three of their four losses came at the hands of the No. 2 Stanford Cardinal, including in the Pac-10 Tournament final on Saturday. Stanford is a No. 1 seed in the same region as UCLA, and the Cardinal open their tournament with two home games.

The other Pac-10 team with a ticket to March Madness include Arizona St., No. 7 in the Dayton Region. The 3:30 p.m. UCLA vs. Montana game on Saturday will be televised on ESPN2.
