Saturday TV Schedule: San Diego St. Vs. BYU Heads Tournament Finals, Lakers Battle Mavericks, Plus Dodgers Spring Training On Delay

With several conference basketball tournaments in full swing, and NCAA Tournament seeding and berths at stake, today is filled with college basketball. Arizona battles Washington in the Pac-10 Tournament final at Staples Center, top seed Long Beach State tries to complete their conference dominance in the Big West Final at Honda Center. The marquee basketball matchup today though has to be the Mountain West Final, where San Diego St. gets their third crack at BYU, this time in Las Vegas. Here is today's sports television schedule.

3 p.m. -- Pac-10 Tournament Final, No. 1 Arizona vs. No. 3 Washington (CBS): The regular season champ faces the overwhelming preseason favorite in today's final at Staples Center.

↵

4 p.m. -- Mountain West Tournament Final, No. 1 BYU vs. No. 2 San Diego St. (Versus): San Diego St. only has two losses this season, and both are to Jimmer Fredette and BYU. The winner of this game likely gets the No. 2 seed in the West Region of the NCAA Tournament.

↵

4 p.m. -- Clippers at Wizards (Prime Ticket): After a tough overtime loss last night in New Jersey, the Clippers continue their road trip in the nation's capital.

↵

5 p.m. -- Big West Tournament Final, No. 1 Long Beach St. vs. No. 5 UC Santa Barbara (ESPN2): The 49ers were 14-2 in conference play during the regular season, including two wins over the Gauchos.

↵

6 p.m. -- Lakers at Mavericks (KCAL): This game is almost certainly a preview of the second round of the Western Conference playoffs between the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds. The final month or so will determine which team has home court in that series.

↵

8 p.m. -- Dodgers (ss) at Giants (MLB Network, delayed): The Dodgers play two split squad games today, and their battle with the Giants will be televised. The Giants' broadcast of today's game from Scottsdale will be on MLB Network this evening.
