Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers end their hellish eight-game road trip tonight against Kevin Love and the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center. However, the Clippers did get some good news today, as center Chris Kaman has been upgraded to a game-time decision, per play-by-play man Ralph Lawler. Kaman has missed the last 26 games, and 45 of the last 47 games, with an aggravated bone bruise in his left ankle.
Tonight is the fourth and final meeting this season between the All-Star power forwards Griffin and Love. The home team has won all three games. In their three matchups, Griffin is averaging 25.7 points and 11.7 rebounds per game, while Love is averaging 20.7 points and 11.7 rebounds. Both will be reserves for the Western Conference at Staples Center this Sunday.
The Clippers are just 1-6 on their road trip so far, which ends with the All-Star break. Technically, it is an 11-game trip, but the Clippers will head back home to Los Angeles after tonight's game. The Clippers are 4-21 on the road this season, while Minnesota is just 9-18 at home.
