Clippers Seek Rare Road Win Facing Raptors In Toronto

The Los Angeles Clippers will try to erase the memories of losing Friday night as they battle the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre. Blake Griffin had 32 points and 13 rebounds on Friday in Cleveland, but the Clippers managed to lose to the Cavaliers, snapping their NBA-record 26-game losing streak. The loss dropped the Clippers to 1-4 on their eight-game road trip, and dropped the Clippers' road record to just 4-19 on the season.

It's times like these that the Clippers miss Eric Gordon the most. They have had leads in the final minute of regulation in both Atlanta and Cleveland, but have been unable to close the game without their floor leader. A 3-2 trip so far would be much better for the psyche than the current 1-4 funk. Gordon has missed the last 10 games with a sprain and small bone chip fracture in his right wrist, and he is back in Los Angeles and not with the team.

Today's game features two teams that thrive in the paint. The Clippers average 47.3 points in the paint per game, second only to Memphis in the NBA. Toronto is fourth in points in the paint, scoring 44.9 points per contest. The Raptors have beaten the Clippers four straight times. This is the first meeting between the two teams this season.
