2012 Rose Bowl, Oregon Vs. Wisconsin Odds: Ducks Favored By Five Points Over Badgers

The pairing for the 2012 Rose Bowl game is at long last officially official. On Sunday night, the BCS announced that the Pac-12 champion Oregon Ducks will face the Wisconsin Badgers in Pasadena on January 2nd.

The early odds have been released for the game, and the Ducks are currently favored by five points, according to our friends over at OddsShark. Wisconsin finished the season with an overall record of 11-2 and won the Big Ten Championship Game over Michigan, 42-39. The Ducks won the Pac-12 Championship and also finished with an 11-2 overall record, with an 8-1 record in conference play.

The teams look fairly evenly matched on paper, but the explosive speed of the Ducks can be difficult to contain, and oddsmakers seen to be doubting that the Badgers will be able to contain LaMichael James and his cohorts.
