The Hawaii Warriors visiting Malibu on Saturday night to take on the Pepperdine Waves. Pepperdine was able to come away with a 73-67 win and improve their record to 3-3 overall and 1-1 at home.
After the teams finished the first half tied at 31-31, Pepperdine was able to pull ahead in the second half for the eventual win. Center Corbin Moore led all Pepperdine players with 17 points, also picking up four rebounds and three assists. Forward Taylor Darby also contributed, picking up 16 points and six rebounds. Guard Nikolas Skouen came off the bench and scored 12 points in the game. Guard Joshua Lowery was the fourth Waves player to score double digits, finishing with 10 points, four rebounds and four assists.
Hawaii's Shaquille Stokes led all scorers with 18 points. The guard also added two assists and a steal.
Pepperdine will be hitting the road next to take on the 2-6 Northern Arizona Lumberjacks. That game will tip off on Wednesday, December 7.
