Chevron World Challenge 2011: Tiger Woods Leads After Two Rounds At Eight-Under

Tiger Woods shot a two-under par 67 on Friday, including; 33 on the front nine and a 34 on the back nine, and took a three-stroke lead going into the third day at the Chevron World Challenge at Sherwood Country Club, in Thousand Oaks, California. He now sits at 8 under par.

After entering day two of the tournament in second place trailing K.J. Choi, Woods' solid day on the course put him three ahead of Choi, who shot a disappointing 73, and Matt Kuchar, who also shot a 67 on the day. Choi and Kuchar both sit at five-under par and they're trailed closely by Zach Johnson and Hunter Mahan, both at four-under.

Wood shot into the lead on Friday with two eagles - on the par 5 2nd and 11th holes, along with birdies on 8, 12, 13 and 16. He bogied on 6 and 17, and double-bogied once on the 15th hole. Tiger's 67 on the day was tied for the day's best with Kuchar, Johnson and Mahan.
