The Wisconsin Badgers are taking a page out of the Oregon Ducks' playbook - or maybe it's the Ducks' closet.
The Badgers will wear modified jerseys during the Rose Bowl according to a tweet from Badger Football that quoted Wisconsin head coach Bret Bielema during a post-practice press conference today.
It's awakened some curiosity as to what exactly the Badgers have in store. The Big Ten isn't known for its flash, outside of maybe the Michigan Wolverines, so seeing some flavor from the Badgers would be an intriguing element in a game where they face the flashiest team in the nation in Nike Town's Ducks.
Bielema spoke on various topics during his press conference including how he's talked to three Pac-12 coaches about how to game plan for Oregon and how the Badgers will focus on "shorter, faster, crisper" practices during bowl prep. Bielema seemed confident that his guys will be ready to go.
The 2012 Rose Bowl Game will be played on Monday, January 2, 2012 in Pasadena. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:10 p.m. PST. The game will be televised by ESPN, with Brent Musberger, Kirk Herbstreit, and Erin Andrews on the call. Stay tuned for more updates as the game approaches.
