This week, Fox has the NFL doubleheader, and KTTV has chosen not to go with Green Bay Packers at San Diego Chargers and instead show the Fox Game of the Week: New York Giants at New England Patriots. Fox 11 hasn't always respected the Chargers' claim on Los Angeles as a secondary territory, so this shouldn't be a great surprise.
Fox Early: San Francisco 49ers at Washington Redskins
Fox Late: New York Giants at New England Patriots
Over on CBS, LA gets the early game, with Phil Simms and Jim Nantz in Buffalo.
CBS Early: New York Jets at Buffalo Bills
Solid slate of games, with no duds in the bunch for the LA audience. The Sunday Night Football game is a doozy as well.
NBC Sunday Night Football: Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers
The Monday night game isn't too shabby either:
ESPN Monday Night Football: Chicago Bears at Philadelphia Eagles
Raider fans in Los Angeles may be disappointed CBS didn't chose to broadcast the Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders, and certainly LA Charger fans are disappointed with the slate. It's upsetting that football fans in Los Angeles can't see a game played west of the Mississippi without DirecTV.
