Week nine of the National Football League has so many amazing matchups, I decided to jump back into the prediction game, if only to make a fool of myself one more time. The marquee matchup appears to be the AFC North battle between the Baltimore Orioles and Pittsburgh Steelers in the Steel City, but that's not the only big game on Sunday. Without further ado, her are my Week 10 NFL picks, with point spreads courtesy of Odds Shark:
Sunday Early Games
New York Jets at Buffalo Bills (-1): A big game for both teams looking to jockey for position in the AFC East. I'll take the home team. The pick: Bills.
Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys (-12½): This is a battle of second place teams though both teams have losing records. I like the offense of Dallas much more than Seattle. The pick: Cowboys.
Cleveland Browns at Houston Texans (-12): Cleveland has scored just 12.6 points per game in their last five contests. The pick: Texans.
Atlanta Falcons (-8) at Indianapolis Colts: I have zero confidence in the winless Colts. The pick: Falcons.
Miami Dolphins at Kansas City Chiefs (-4): I have zero confidence in the winless Dolphins. The pick: Chiefs.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints (-10): I have no idea what to make of the Saints week to week, and Tampa Bay beat New Orleans at home three weeks ago, so I'll take the points. The pick: Bucs.
San Francisco 49ers (-3½) at Washington Redskins: San Francisco is going to get a bye week in the playoffs. The pick: 49ers.
Sunday Late Games
Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders (-9): This game might have the worst collective quarterback play of the day, but I'll take Oakland at home. The pick: Raiders.
Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans (-2): I need to pick more road teams, so...The pick: Bengals.
St. Louis Rams at Arizona Cardinals (-1): Can the Rams build off their surprising win over the Saints? Sure, why not? The pick: Rams.
New York Giants at New England Patriots (-10½): The Patriots might be the better team, but that's an awful lot of points. The pick: Giants.
Green Bay Packers (-5½) at San Diego Chargers: San Diego is a hard team to figure out, but it wouldn't surprise me to see them hand Green Bay their first loss so I'll take the points. The pick: Chargers.
Sunday Night
Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers (-3½): This rivalry usually produces close games, which is why the Raven's 35-7 win in Baltimore in Week 1 was so shocking. Look for the hot Steelers to get revenge Sunday night. The pick: Steelers.
Monday Night
Chicago Bears at Philadelphia Eagles (-9): When in doubt, take the points. The pick: Eagles.
