College Basketball Rankings: Louisville Moves Up To No. 6 In AP Poll, Hosts Long Beach State Monday Night

California is the only Pac-12 team ranked in the AP poll top 25.

The latest college basketball rankings are out, and the Louisville Cardinals have moved up to No. 6 in the latest Associated Press poll. The Long Beach St.ate 49ers look to slay their second giant this season on Monday night as they hit the road to battle Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center. Long Beach State already defeated one top ten team on the road this season, a November 16 win at the then No. 9 Pittsburgh Panthers.

  6. Louisville
  7. Baylor
  8. Connecticut
  9. Wisconsin
  10. Florida
  11. Xavier
  12. Alabama
  13. Missouri
  14. Michigan
  15. Kansas
  16. Marquette
  17. Pittsburgh
  18. UNLV
  19. Gonzaga
  20. Vanderbilt
  21. Mississippi State
  22. Memphis
  23. St. Louis
  24. California
  25. Texas A&M

Long Beach State, in addition to road tests in Pittsburgh and Louisville, will also travel to play No. 15 Kansas (December 6), No. 5 North Carolina (December 10), and No. 11 Xavier (December 22).

The Cal Bears are the only Pac-12 team in the AP top 25, checking in at No. 23. The Arizona Wildcats were ranked No. 23 last week, but dropped out after a loss to San Diego State over the weekend.
