USC Vs. Oregon Gamescore: USC Leads Oregon 21-7

The USC Trojans entered this game being 14.5 points under dogs, but they are leading the Oregon Ducks, where they are virtually unbeatable at home since head coach Chip Kelly took the helm, 21-7 at the half.

Quarterback Matt Barkley is leading the offensive charge, completing 15 of 19 passes for 186 yards and three touchdowns. True freshman wide receiver Marqise Lee has caught seven of Barkley’s 15 passes for 195 yards, including a touchdown pass to open the game, 7-0.

Robert Woods, who has not practiced all week, started tonight’s game and has caught five passes for 38 yards including two touchdowns.

The Trojans have not broke into Oregon’s wall on the run as they have only accumulated 29 yards on 15 carries. Curtis McNeal has 25 yards on seven carries.

The Oregon Ducks have out gained the Trojans in yards 220 to USC’s 215, but have given up two turnovers.

In the last drive, the Ducks were poised to score, but LaMichael James fumbled inside the ten yard line, which was recovered by safety Jawanza Starling. James has 66 yards rushing on 16 carries, good for a 4.1 average.

Ducks quarterback Darron Thomas has completed 11 of 16 passes for 134 yards, including a touchdown to De’Anthony Thomas.
