The UCLA Bruins are hosting the Colorado Buffaloes on Senior Day, and the Bruins are already making a strong statement. At the beginning of the second quarter, UCLA already boasts a 21-0 lead over their struggling Pac-12 rivals.
Quarterback Kevin Prince launched a 54-yard touchdown pass as his first toss of the evening, which was hauled in perfectly by Shaquelle Evans. On the very next possession, the Buffaloes drew a false start and gained nine yards before Colorado's Tyler Hansen threw an interception to Sean Westgate, who ran the ball back to the Colorado 14. On the very next play, Johnathan Franklin scored a rushing touchdown, putting the Bruins up 14-0 on only three offensive plays, less than four minutes into the game.
UCLA was also able to pick up another first quarter touchdown on a pass from Prince to Joseph Fauria. The Bruins begin the second quarter up 21-0 and the 2-9 Colorado team is looking very overmatched.
