USC Vs. Colorado Odds: Trojans Open As Huge Favorites

USC is heavily favored against the Colorado Buffaloes on national TV on Friday. If they play like they did against Stanford, it shouldn't be a problem living up to the billing.

The USC Trojans are coming off an emotionally draining 56-48 loss to the Stanford Cardinal last Saturday. In what is being dubbed the ‘game of the year' in the college football, the Trojans fought one of the top teams in the country and their Heisman hopeful quarterback through three overtimes before finally falling in defeat. According to the sportsbooks, USC doesn't have quite the same task ahead of them as they face the Colorado Buffaloes.

The Trojans are currently installed as 21.5 to 22 point favorites (depending on which sportsbook you look at) against Colorado. It looks like Vegas doesn't see an emotional hangover in the Trojans future in what could easily be a trap game.

This is the first-ever meeting within the Pac-12 between USC and Colorado. But USC is 5-0 all-time against the Buffaloes, with their last game played in 2002.

Friday's 6 p.m. PDT game will be televised nationally by ESPN, with Dave Lamont and Rod Gilmore on the call. For more USC football news and notes, be sure to read Conquest Chronicles.
