Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush had a fairly productive game on Sunday, recording 50 rushing yards and 15 receiving yards. Those numbers, however, came in a 26-16 loss to the San Diego Charges as the Dolphins fell to 0-4 on the season. That's bad news for Reggie's team, but Bush himself didn't let that get him down. He followed up the loss by partying in Los Angeles, according to a report by Big Lead Sports.
Bush was spotted at a club at 10 p.m., just hours after the team finished up in San Diego. It looks like Bush might draw some heat from critics for not taking the loss seriously enough, but can you really blame the guy?
The one-time USC star probably just wanted to blow off some steam, which makes sense when your team is stuck in a rut and you're looking at a possible back-up role behind a rookie running back (in Bush's case, that man would be Daniel Thomas). Lost in all this scrutiny is one fact about Bush: he loves Los Angeles.
L.A. is the city where Bush became a star, where he transformed into one of the most exciting NFL prospects of his time with big stat lines at USC. He loves the city, and the city is a great fit for his personality. It's too bad that L.A. doesn't have an NFL team. Reuniting Bush with football in Los Angeles might just bring some fire to his play and help redeem his football career.
