With each week that goes by, the NBA lockout discussions seem to get quieter. That's almost certainly bad news if you're hoping the two sides will eventually settle in time to have something resembling a legitimate NBA season this year. Los Angeles Clippers guard Eric Gordon commented on Saturday night that the NBA players are united and are determined to stay strong.
Gordon appeared at Indiana University and spoke a bit about the current lockout situation. His take is that the owners have appeared to have the upper hand in the meetings that he has attending, constantly adjusting and setting new parameters for compromise. The players remain focused and united, and Gordon remains confident that an agreement can still be reached.
The two sides will come together in front of a federal mediator on Tuesday, but where things go from there is anyone's guess.
