Rose Bowl, Wisconsin Vs. TCU: The Sideline Chess Match

SB Nation's Wisconsin community, Bucky's 5th Quarter, thinks the 2011 Rose Bowl will be played out most entertainingly on the sidelines:

[The] best matchup of the game involves two opposing coordinators. Wisconsin offensive coordinator Paul Chryst and TCU defensive coordinator Dick Bumpas currently lead two of the best squads in the nation, and their talents will be on full display on New Years Day.

Predictably, however, neither man wants to draw extra attention to themselves. "Not minimizing what coaches do, but I think in the end it still is what happens between the lines," Chryst said. "There's always a chess match. I have a tremendous amount of respect for what they do defensively and you want to be on. This is our chosen profession and you want to be the best you can be at it. But the reason you want to do that is you want to give your players the chance to go play the game and to have success."

The 2011 Rose Bowl Game presented by Vizio kicks off at 2 p.m. PST.
