  • Galaxy begin a three week home stand Saturday, their longest of the season. Despite dropping their last two home games, the Galaxy are still 6-2-2 at home on the season.

*The Galaxy head into Saturday’s game tied with Columbus in the Supporters Shield race, but they both could be surpassed by Real Salt Lake before then, as Real travels to Seattle on Thursday.

*Omar Gonzalez’s goal last Saturday broke the Galaxy’s goalless streak at 350 minutes. Only the Kansas City Wizards (402) and D.C. United (352) had gone longer without scoring.

*Juninho is also set to return on Saturday, having cleared up personal maters back in Brazil.

*Landon Donovon will be making 10 year old Geraldo’s wish come true today and Saturday by giving the young child exclusive access to the team at practice and during and after the game. Geraldo is battling Lupus, and the Make-A-Wish foundation has organized a truly inspiring event.
