McCourt Divorce Trial Provides A Point Of Levity, Or Perhaps Positive Energy

The McCourt divorce trial has grabbed some headlines this week, and for the most part has been about as boring as one would expect a mostly evidentiary trial to be. Sure, the future of the Dodgers are at stake, but it's nothing like Law & Order will have you believe.

Molly Knight of ESPN has been doing a bang-up job covering the trial all week, and today reported on a bit of comic relief. There is a person in the courtroom watching the trial, which is open to the public, who is wearing the following shirt:

Vladimir Shpunt is the Russian faith healer that the Dodgers had on the payroll for several seasons to provide positive energy. Naturally, this revelation brought ridicule and scorn to the McCourts and the Dodgers, and rightfully so. At least it provided a moment of levity in an otherwise boring week.
