The Bruins announced yesterday that freshman defensive tackle Brandon Willis has transferred from North Carolina and will join the Bruins immediately.
“We are very excited about Brandon joining our program,” said UCLA head football coach Rick Neuheisel. “We thought the world of him a year ago as a high school senior and we feel he will be a tremendous asset to our defensive front.”
Willis enrolled at North Carolina this past January and participated in Spring Practice. He left the school early in Fall camp.
Willis will redshirt this season, and will still have four years of eligibility remaining.
