The Lakers, who open their training camp in a little over a week, have added four players to their training camp roster, the team announced today. Trey Johnson, Anthony Roberson, Russell Hicks, and Andrew Naymick bring the total number of players in camp to 18.
Roberson, a 6-foot-2 guard, has played parts of three seasons with four NBA teams, the last being Chicago in 2008-2009. He played last season in France, averaging 18.5 points per game for Strasbourg IG.
Johnson, a 6-foot-6 guard from Jackson State, has logged 14 minutes of NBA time, in 2008-2009 with Cleveland.
The 6-foot-10 Naymick played his college ball at Michigan State, and played the last two seasons in Europe
The 7-foot center Hicks began his college career at Pepperdine. He played last season with Iowa of the NBA developmental league.
The Lakers' first preseason game is in London, against the Minnesota Timberwolves, on October 4.
