UCLA LB Patrick Larimore Wins Pac-10 Defensive Player Of The Week

To the victors go the spoils. For UCLA, who defeated the 23rd-ranked Houston Cougars Saturday night for their first win of the season, they got good news today, as sophomore linebacker Patrick Larimore was named Pac-10 defensive player of the week for his performance against Houston.

Larimore has a career-high 11 tackles, including three for a loss, and he forced a fumble. The Bruins will need Larimore to have another strong game this weekend, as they face their second straight ranked team from the state of Texas. UCLA travels to Austin on Saturday to play the Texas Longhorns, ranked 7th in the latest AP poll.
